ASG is currently completing pre-commercial testing of the G-44 Process. The G-44 System will be built on a 40-foot skids until the size of the conversion system is above 10 million ft3/day of gas input and depending on the operating pressure. ASG will utilize the services of Jacobs Engineering to design and construct the first commercial G-44 System.
The G-44 System is scalable, which means when a user needs a system above a certain capacity, it can be easily designed and integrated into the user’s gas production situation. This could be implemented in a larger, permanent, site-specific installation, (at a coal-fired power plant, for example,) or a series of smaller stackable units that can be rearranged and transported as needed.
The associated post-processing separation unit(s) can also be designed on a case-by-case basis depending on the particular situation. The complexity of the separation and post-processing unit will relate to the product requirements of a given situation. Separation technology will be based on known and proven methods for chemical separation, such as distillation and membranes, etc.
